The Onlinegambling.co.uk Sports Guru went 1-2 in both college and pro football selections last week in online sports gambling action, and has vowed to turn things around this week.  On the college scene, the University of South Carolina and Texas both failed to cover the point spread by the smallest of margins.  U.S.C. did beat Notre Dame by the spread, so the Guru’s profits for the year in college football shrank to $370.

On the pro football front, the Giants and the Bengals both lost while Atlanta defeated the Bears by the spread.  The Guru stands at a profit of $50 on the year for pro football.

Here are our college football prognostications for week #8, October 31^st.  Each of these games represents a $100 online sports gambling wager.

·        Northwestern (+12) over Penn State – The overrated Nittany Lions make a visit to their Big Ten rivals, and will not cover the spread.  Look for Penn State to play conservative and secure a 27-17 victory.

·        Wisconsin (+3) over Purdue – The Boilermakers are fresh from an upset win over Ohio State, and will run into a tough opponent in the Badgers from Wisconsin.  The Badgers lost a home game to Iowa this week, and will not repeat the mistake.  Wisconsin wins 24-20.

·        U.S.C. (+2) over Oregon – The Ducks of Oregon are undefeated in the PAC Ten and will meet the perennial champs, U.S.C., in a game that has national championship implications.   The Trojans of U.S.C. are making their annual late run at the national title, and will enjoy their visit to Eugene, Oregon, as they will play a flawless game and come away with a 37-17 win.

Additionally, we will parlay the U.S.C. game with Northwestern and Wisconsin for $100.

Here are the pro football picks for Sunday, November 1^st.  The online sports gambling wagers are $100 apiece, with a $100 three-team parlay for $100.

·        Dallas (-9) over Seattle – The Cowboys are on a roll and will spank the Seahawks by a score of 31-10.

·        Buffalo (+3) over Houston -  Houston comes in capable of putting up big offensive numbers, but Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo is a difficult place for visiting teams to play in November.   Look for the Bills to win a squeaker, 17-16.

·        San Francisco (+8) over New Orleans - The Saints have had a remarkable campaign, and they are the top team in the NFL so far.  However, they figure to stumble at some point, and this is the week.  We predict San Francisco will win the turnover battle and leave the Big Easy win a 27-24 upset victory.

·        Chicago (-8) over Cleveland – The Bears are due for a laugher at home and this is the game.  Cleveland is offensively inept, and the Bears will chew them up in a 27-3 win.

Other online sports gambling wagers are the Giants (+4) at Philadelphia, Baltimore (-4) at home against the Denver Broncos, and the Green bay Packers (+1) at home against rival Minnesota Vikings.

The three-team parlay for $100 involves the Cowboys, Baltimore and Buffalo.  By the way, the Guru is still alive with his future’s online sports gambling wager on the New York Yankees to win the World Series.  Only time will tell!
