San Diego (+ 5 ½ over Dallas ) – The Chargers are a good road team, and the Cowboys are strong at home.  In this contest, the Chargers will cover the spread and win the game also by a count of 24-21.

New England (-9) over Carolina – Tom Brady eats up the depleted secondary of Carolina , and the Pats take the measure of Carolina by a score of 34-14.
