The time has come for the cream to rise to the top.  It works that way in coffee and it works that way in athletic competition.  In the realm of NCAA College Basketball, it appears that the tournament is made for the sports betting investor.  Sixty-five teams enter a single game elimination tournament.  The teams that survive to the Final Four need talent, skill and a dogged determination, but also a little bit of luck in order to survive the gruelling pressure of the tournament.

The best player in the field is Blake Griffin from Oklahoma , but I don’t like his surrounding cast. They will not see Detroit , and will lose to either Louisville or Michigan State along the way.  North Carolina has the most offensive firepower of all the teams, and Carolina has a starting line-up of future pros.  However, they are frequently unmotivated and play no defense.

Louisville can suffer through offensive droughts, but they are the best on-ball defensive team in the tournament. They also have a proven coach.  Louisville will advance to the Championship game and play either North Carolina or Pittsburgh in the final.
