Week 1 of the National Football League proved to be a downer for most experts. However, the Guru of OnlineGambling.co.uk did not fall victim to the upsets of the first week of action. As a result of the predictions on this website, the Guru won 6 games, lost 3, lost a parlay and pushed another one for a total of +220 for the week. When you combine this with a perfect 3-0 record on the college slate, you would have won $520 in one week if you had followed the advice of the Sports Guru of OnlineGambling.co.uk.
As we look forward to week #3 in the NFL, there are 16 games scheduled for the weekend of September 27-28. Week #3 is generally the week that teams begin to settle down, and the cream generally begins to rise to the top. As expected, the National Conference is dominated by the strong Eastern Division, featuring the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. The remaining team in the East Division, the Washington Redskins, would also be in contention for a playoff spot, if it were not for the fact that they must play the other three teams in its division twice each. Washington figures to do no better than 2-6 in these matchups, which will seriously hurt any chances it may have to capture a Wild Card playoff spot.
The Chicago Bears look shaky, and the loss of All-Pro Linebacker, Brian Urlacher, for the season due to a dislocated wrist, doesn’t make matters any easier. Both the Oakland raiders and the Buffalo Bills have improved their squads, and the interest in online sportsbook gambling parlours continues to increase with each passing week.
Here are the prognostications for week #3:
· Tampa Bay (+5 1/2 ) over the Giants - The Giants are coming off a late Sunday night game with Dallas, and may experience a road letdown. Giants squeak out a 24-21 win.
· New York Jets (pick ‘em) over Tennessee – Jets Quarterback, Mark Sanchez, is the real deal, and the Jets have strong linebackers who will neutralize the running game of the Titans. You can look for a convincing 27-14 win for the J-E-T-S.
· St. Louis Rams (+6) over Green Bay - The Green Bay Packers play on the road for the first time this season, and invade the lowly Rams, setting themselves up for an upset. The Rams outlast the Packers 27-20.
· Oakland (+4) over Denver – The Raiders win the game outright 17-10 as Bronco fans dream what might have been if Jay Cutler were still their quarterback.
· Minnesota (-8) over San Francisco – The 49ers are greatly improved over last year, but Mike Singletary’s squad has no shot in the Minnesota Dome. The Vikings roll to a 44-10 romp.
The $50 parlay consists of the Jets, Oakland and the Vikings. Good luck to all!
