As soon as the ball dropped in Times Square to denote the ending of 2009 and the commencement of a new year, I turned my attention to my favourite pastime, online gambling.  Online gambling is a great source of recreational enjoyment for me, and has, in the past, provided me with some additional revenue to better support my family. 

One of my goals this year is to capitalize on my strengths as an online gambler, and reduce my weaknesses.  As such, I have made online gambling resolutions for this year in order to maximize my online gambling bottom line.  The following are my online gambling resolutions for 2010. 

·        Focus on Major Sports Betting - Online sports betting now has surpassed sports gambling in land-based casinos.  Online sports wagering allows you to wait until just before game time before placing your bet.  There are great opportunities for gamblers to research the selections of expert handicappers, such as the Onlinegambling.co.uk Sports Guru, who successfully predicted the NBA Champ and the World Series Champs in futures bets during the 2009 season.  I’ve made a resolution to study the major sports this year, and capitalize on my knowledge of these sports.  I’ll also invest time with college sports where you can win a great deal of money by knowing the relative strengths and weaknesses of the different leagues.

·        Play the Traditional Casino Games – While it is fun to play new games at online gambling sites, it has not made for a wise investment in my online gambling history.  So, I have made a resolution for 2010 to participate in online gambling on these traditional games only – Blackjack, Roulette, Video Poker, Caribbean Poker and Slot machine games.

·        Play Free Casino Sites with Greater Frequency - Online casino statistics show that more players are participating in casino games on free casino each succeeding year.  The economy has forced many of us to cut back on our online gambling.  I have found the games at free casino sites to be every bit as exciting and challenging as those on play-for-pay sites.  Of course, you can play more relaxed knowing that you have no risk of financial losses, and that is most reassuring.  Additionally, you can play traditional casino games, try out new strategies, and perfect betting schemes with virtual money.

By limiting my resolutions to three, I figure I have a chance of keeping them during the New Year, and maximizing my online gambling investments during 2010.
