Guru's Sports Betting Tips

Guru’s Gallery

Sports betting is based on the prediction of a sports result through a wager on the outcome of the event. A sport betting event can range from a baseball game to a boxing match. Sports betting is conducted through online sportsbook parlours which list all available events and their current odds and lines.

While there maybe some parameters regarding the minimum and maximum amount of money that can be wagered on sports bets, online betting is the most convenient venue in which to place a sports bet. A sport bet is a great way to supplement your income, and online sportsbook wagering is the best means to the end.

The Onlinegambling.co.uk Sports Guru has built up a solid reputation over the years as a top-notch prognosticator of sporting events, especially major sports and keynote sporting events. In 2009, the Guru earned close to $5,000 in sports betting on college football alone!

There are several online betting sites that are excellent in presentation, customer service and payouts. These will be highlighted from time to time on the best online casino review page at Onlinegambling.co.uk. This column will also contain an educational component for sports betting investors in order to make the sports betting public fully aware of the varieties of sports bets available on online sportsbook sites.

Our column will be devoted to sport betting on events on which the Guru can present keen insight and observation, and offer a respected opinion. All theoretical wagers will be in the amount of $100 per sports bet, unless otherwise designated. Feel free to drop an Email to the Guru on any question or comment you might have. By utilizing our professional experience, you may be able to augment your income through sports betting.

Online Sports Betting-Gambling Sports Guru Runs Weekly Win Streak to 4- February 1, 2012

The Gambling Sports Guru of OnlineGambling.co.uk won 5 of 7 virtual wagers this week to run his weekly winning streak to 4 consecutive weeks.

The Guru earned $300 in virtual winnings this week boosting his record to $5,100 in virtual profits so far this year.

NFL Super Bowl

The Guru has already hit on his selection of the New England Patriots as American Conference Champs and representative in the Super Bowl.  It is guaranteed to be a classic match up with the New York Giants, a traditional National Conference powerhouse.  The game is a rematch of the 2008 classic when the Giants upset the Patriots and ruined their unbeaten season.

You would figure that the Patriots will have the element of revenge on their minds, and this is accurate.  They have Tom Brady at Quarterback and a bevy of sure-handed receivers.  While all this is true, the New York Giants are the better all-around football team and will win the game by a 27-23 score.

Usually, the Guru would involve himself in a plethora of wild proposition bets.  This year, he will wager on the score, and will take the Giants and get 3 points as well.  He will only wager these bets:

First Patriot Play of the Game – pass to Wes Welker (4-1)

First Giant Play of the Game – running play to Bradshaw

Halftime Score – NY Giants +3

“Green Bay Packers will repeat as NFL Champs by defeating the New England Patriots in the 2012 Super Bowl.  However, it will be the New York Giants that give the Pack their toughest playoff contest in two weeks, as the Guru sees it.”

The above captioned paragraph appeared in last week’s edition and the Guru has hit the nail on the head.  Bet all underdogs this weekend!

The New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers knocked out the darlings of the NFL, the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints, just as the Guru predicted, setting up a tremendous National Conference final.  San Francisco outmuscled the Saints, but will not be able to duplicate their feat this week.  The Guru sees Eli Manning leading the Giants back to the Super Bowl.

In the American Conference, Tom Brady led a ferocious offense as the New England Patriots demolished Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos, while the Baltimore Colts played poorly but outlasted Houston.  Baltimore figures to give New England a run for the money.  New England will move on to the Superbowl, but Baltimore will cover the spread.

Here are the Guru’s selections for the second week’s playoffs of the NFL Season,
